ABOUT THE FOUNDER

Meet the Founder, Jason Goldberg

With nearly 20 years of experience, GLS's Founder, Jason Goldberg, has placed approximately 200 associate, partner and of counsel level attorneys in various firms and organizations, such as in-house general counsel at an international cutting-edge bio-tech firm, to policy-holder side complex coverage litigation roles at Chambers ranked boutiques, and AmLaw 5 corporate M&A positions.

After growing up north of Boston, Jason attended New York University. After graduating in 2005, Jason worked in sales and marketing at Sports Illustrated before attending Brooklyn Law School. For four years Jason served as an Assistant District Attorney for the Brooklyn D.A.'s office before moving to South Florida with his family. Jason passed the Florida Bar exam and started working at a law firm in Miami before calling a recruiter about a job in 2017. Jason was recruited to become a recruiter and has not looked back since!

Jason lives just west of Ft. Lauderdale with his 3 kids, dog, 2 cats and various amphibian creatures.

No. Our fees are paid by the hiring firm or company. There is never a cost to the attorney candidate. We work on a contingency basis, meaning we only get paid when a successful placement is made.
How do you find opportunities that aren't posted publicly?
Through 20+ years of relationships with hiring partners, general counsels, and HR leaders. Many of our opportunities are exclusive and never posted publicly.
How long does the placement process take?
Most placements take 4-8 weeks from start to finish. Associate searches typically move faster, while partner-level or specialized roles may take longer. I prioritize finding the right fit over speed and keep you informed every step of the way.
Can you help with in-house positions?
Absolutely. We place attorneys in corporate legal departments ranging from Fortune 500 companies to growing startups. In-house placements are a significant part of our practice.
